It was a mild, soggy day on Aonach Mor today but we managed to find some good snow slopes and even icy ground for some winter skills training. goes to show even in lean conditions there's always plenty of the white stuff around. Dan, Paul & Ben were on a one day course and we had some fun descending on steep ground in the Nid area. Dan got an excellent axe arrest in at the end of the day, combining all 4 positions in one slide! Snow and colder weather forecast by mid week, we hope.
