Sadly our final day in Torridon, the finest mountain range on Earth. We woke to a glorious clear skies morning from our cottage in Annat. Hardly a breath of wind and wonderful clarity of light again. Beinn Liath Mhor was on Karen's tick list for another Munro. Most folk walk up this hill from the Glen Carron side but we always make a full day of it and once again we used the superb stalkers paths straight from our cottage. Fabulous views of the big Torridon ridges, Liathach and Beinn Eighe. A fair amount of snow at 900m on these hills but there was warmth in today's sun (it is May by the way!) so it was melting fast through the day. We saw a few folk setting out on their TGO Challenge, a coast to coast walk. No one else seen all day once we got on the north ridge of the hill. More stunning views to the west. On the way home we saw a Golden Eagle, almost the same spot as a couple of years ago when we were on Sgurr Ruadh. A fine end to the day and week. We'll be back soon. We have a date with Liathach and Beinn Eighe :)
