Penultimate dsy on the TMB with an 'easier day' on The Bovine route. For me this is the least interesting day on the trek around Mont Blanc but it was a welcome relief to be in the trees and shade for much of the dsy. The lack of mountain views was compensated by some lovely wildlife in the treecover, including Nutcracker & Red Squirral. Of course the name of the route comes from the numerous beards of specific cattle, The Herens Cow.
