| Glimpse of Mont Blanc Over the Col de Balme and back into the Chamonix Valley today. The heat had gone and cloud around the big mountains. Most folk just tend to descended straight down to Le Tour after reaching the col. Much nice is the route over the Aiguillete Possets. This lovely ridge full of bearberry and juniper gives fine views out over to the Aiguille Rouge and over to Mont Blanc. We Managed to miss the rain too! :) |
