Next time
A lovely, dry and bright weekend but still a bit chilly on the mountain tops. We had a lovely day up on Ben Wyvis on Saturday. Another Munro for Karen and it's been a long while since my last visit up here. Tend to forget how good the views are from many of our wonderful hills. Superb panorama out to the west. Vistas of Glen Affric hills, Torridon, Fannaichs, An Teallach & The 'Deargs'. I didn't see the disgusting wind farm plonked right in front of the Fannaichs last time I was here though. How on earth could we accept a monstrosity like that in such wonderful wild land? Sunday we had a leisurely day out at the Black Isle to watch the Dolphins play out at Chanonry Point. Before heading home to Aviemore, Karen got a swim in Loch Vaa to round off a fab weekend with my lovely wife and our friends.
