Stewart pleased with his skills

Pathless terrain most of the day
Stewart was out with me today for a Navigation Course. Stewart has only just got into hillwalking and tackling some Munro summits. Despite being relatively new he took to it wonderfully. By the end of the day he had acquired lots of vital skills to tackle pathless, featureless terrain. It was a windy day high up and with a forecast of heavy, thundery showers we decided to work in the lower hills. These are absolutely perfect, despite their height they are featureless and pathless much of the time. We hardly got wet, with just a 5 minute shower all day. It was lovely to feel the sun.
