The section of TMB between La Fouly and Champex is the easiest bit of the trek. It's nearly all in the valley and reaches the lowest point of the tour.  May well have been the lowest in altitude but the heat today was sky high. Reaching 30 C. It's my least favourite day on the TMB but in the trees it was very welcome shade. Thunderstorms more likely next few days. Waterproofs!
