A return to Chamonix and the Alps for a Walkers Haute Route trip starting tomorrow. After a couple of days sat on a plane, trains & buses it was nice to get out for a quick morning blast on the trails out of the Chamonix Valley. A glorious clear skies morning with a nice breeze so not too hot. It is now peak season in The Alps and the usual crowded streets of Chamonix,  enormous queues for the Aiguille du Midi and ice cream getting sold by the bucket load! The Walkers Haute Route will be a nice change of scenery for me after guiding on TMB's all season so can't wait to be out on the trail to Zermatt in the morning . I am guiding for Mont Blanc Treks.
