GLORIOUS AUTUMN WEATHER CONTINUES

Cairn Toul, Sgor an  Lochain Uaine & Braeriach from Ben Macdui

Looking fine in the sun

Loch Avon and Shelterstone

Angels Ridge

Stag Rocks

Last remaining snowpatches in The Cairngorms

Feithe Buidhe
The uge High Pressure system over Scandanavia isn't moveing anytime soon. Any fine day across much of The Highlands. It was much easier walking today in The Cairngorms with only a steady 40mph wind which eased off by afternoon. Wall to wall sunshine and blue skies. Ground completely dry, I could get use to coming home completely dry every day! The last snow patches in The Cairngorms at Garbh Coire Mor, Braeriach are still hanging on. Actually, there is a miniscule patch (blob) still hanging on at the  Loch Avon/Feithe Buidhe slabs, see below and get a magnifying glass!
The tiniest snow ptach at Feithe Buidhe, in centre of pic, near shadow
