GOING UNDERGROUND

George and I went south to Wanlockhead today with the intention of heading up one of the hills in The Southern Uplands. Having escaped the rain in Glasgow the rain became even heavier so we opted for a tour down the lead mines near the village. The things you have to do to get away from the persistent rain. Excellent clear weather is forecast though over the weekend which will be  welcome relief has we are up in Knoydart on Saturday and  Sunday. No pics today!
