Justin and Rob were out with me today on a one day navigation course in the Yorkshire Dales. The father and son team had been out with me twice before in winter and they had decided to get some proper map reading and navigation skills under their belt. We headed to the quiet area just east of the village of Settle which is an ideal region of limestone country with the hills only around the 400-500m height so up onto some featureless terrain quite quickly. It's a nice area full of interesting caves dotted about the place and the flowers are fantastic, I renamed the area 'Pansey Paradise' there were so many of these beautiful flowers all over the place. It was quite a cool day and we had rain most of the time.Back home in The Highlands now.
