Exactly one week ago we had a few inches of snow lying in our garden in Aviemore. Today the sun shone merrily all day with temperatures in the mid teens. A good day for biking. The Burma Road circuit is a classic day out from Aviemore. Over 42km, 700metres of climbing and some stunning, varied terrain. Moorland, mountain, Pine and birch forest, Scottish meadows and riverside track. Nowhere technical, just fabulous scenery all day.
With a big high pressure centred in the north of the UK we are going to receive over a week of fine weather. As mentioned in my blog posts every year, April is still winter. 1st May and here comes summer!  Enjoy it!
