Heading up to Stob Ban
Another very warm and sunny day in the west, once again we were blessed with excellent weather. Kath rattled up her Munro tally by 3 today as we headed into the Mamores and walked up Sgurr a' Mhaim, Stob Ban and Mullach nan Coireachan. It was a humid and still day which unfortunately meant we had high altitude midges on all the summits! But this was compensated by fab views once again. The weather forecast for heavy showers in the afternoon gave us a 2 minute mizzle downpour! Just enough to cool us down a tad. It was good to see that the forestry commission have now finished the wonderful wee path and stile through the woods on the descent back to Achriabach, this used to be a very boggy and wet end to your day! Seems like we missed something down in Fort William today?
