It rained on and off in Courmayeur for 24 hrs during our rest up day. The weather for today wasn't looking great but despite this we decided on the high level Monte de La Saxe route anyway. This walk always reminds me of the hills back home. It is the finest of the TMB days. The cloud was swirling about, much cooler than late and a very atmosphere up on the ridge. It definitely felt like a Scottish hill day. We had no rain and it was a great day. The group finally seeing the marmot at close quartets and I got some nice shots on the proper camera.
