Lucy and Stephen booked a day out for a 'winter hill walk' and some basic winter skills along the way. It was such a glorious, stunning day and what a day to get up on the tops. Wall to wall sun, no wind and very warm once the sun was up. It was sunglasses, sunscreen and smiles today. Their first time in winter Scottish mountains so why not savour the day on one of the finest routes up onto the plateau, The Fiacaill Ridge. After a quick run down on axe and crampons lower down the mountain we worked our way up the ridge arriving at the 'fun' bit early afternoon. With only one other team in front of us we savoured the peace and quiet, views and warm, warm sun! They did brilliantly. What a day!
