Another TMB underway today. This version for RAW Travel is the longer, full version over 10 days. Just a small group of 4 on this trip with 2 more folk joining us later in the week. The glorious spell of weather continues. Clear skies with very hot temperatures of 29 C in Chamonix, a bit cooler on the hill. We kicked off with an ascent up to the Brevent. Still a fair amount of snow below the summit rocks, Banked out across the zigzag track. The North side route via the Col du Brevent I would think was will still be plastered in deep snow. The views of the Mont Blanc massif from the top and all the way down the ridge to Belachat are fantastic. It's a long descent of over 1400m to Les Houches.
