The team n the Fiacaill
Beautiful morning
Alistair enjoying solid snow
Ridge to ourselves
Calum enjoying the view
Navigation now
Poor visibility on plateau
Down
Good snow cover
Another sub zero temperatures on the tops. A Cairngorm stiff breeze making it feel even Arctic like. It was a glorious morning with some sparkling sun. Plenty of wind blown snow building up the windslab nicely, especially on East NE aspects.  It was day 2 for my group. Today we had a fab time over a deserted Fiacaill Coire Sneachda.  We reached the fun bit after the crowds had disappeared. Solid snow on all the ledges, superb. The team did brilliant. On the plateau we got some low cloud. Perfect for afternoon Navigation.  The number one winter 'skill'. Poor visibility all the way from Cairn Lochan to Lurches.  Once again the team were spot on with map and compass. Brilliant weekend and the group going away with plenty of winter experience.
