After a two day damp and cloudy spell, the sun returned today. A lovely day for the Grand Balcon Nord. One of the great walks from Chamonix. Most folk use the Montenvers train and /or the cablecar at the other end to walk the traverse. Far more satisfying to walk up and back down, purist style.
