ERICK THE WIND
Essential eye wear
Windy up top
Shelter from the wind
Good snow cover above 800m
Hints of clear skies
Hard going in a breakable crust
Storm Erick arrived overnight but not too severe winds over the Cairngorms today. In the corries probably around 60mph. There was some sheltered areas. Good snow cover above 800m. The corries looking very wintry. Still a frustrating breakable crust so walking still hard work.
