LAST WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP OF 2021

Beth photographing the Cairngorms
My last days guiding work of 2021 was on Hogmanay. Beth out on a Mountain Hare Photography Workshop with me in the Monadhliath. This half day workshop was with one of my gift vouchers,  bought as a present from Beth's daughter. What a great idea for Christmas,  or a y time of year!

It was a drizzly morning but it dried up by the time we spotted our second Mountain Hare.

Wrap up.warm, despite the mild temperatures

Snowless ground for our beautiful hares
The temperatures have been silly last couple of days with highs in Aviemore of about 10 degrees or more. This has stripped the snow in the area where I photograph the hares. Of course with no snow around the hares are vulnerable from predators. Our wee guy was quite happy to sit for us.

Curious
Beth and I enjoyed over an hour with this individual. The skies even brightend up during our time with this guy. We left him in peace and had time to photograph the Cairngorms with some interesting cloud below in the Strath.

The hares will be looking forward to next week's cd and snowfall which is forecasted. So will we!

Happy and a snowy New Year!
