ANOTHER WET DAY IN TORRIDON

Another wet, windy, cloudy & cool weekend in Torridon. Jacqui & friends had booked 1 day to do one of the classic Torridon ridges with me. Unfortunately the weather wasn't playing ball. Whilst the Englandshire basks in sun and high pressure, we are still stuck in a weather front. After some options on routes we went for Tom na Gruagach, the first Munro summit on Beinn Alligin. We set off in rain and at 500m we entered the  clag. After our first Munro the team decided to come back another day to see the stunning panoramic views that these mountains offer. A good day to test out your waterproofs. We only saw 1 other person, funnily enough.

Great group, great banter and a sense of humour always makes weather like this a lot better! The sun tried to peep out by mid afternoon.

All photos credited to Jacqui. Yours truly forgot his phone 🤔.

Happy and wet

Don't worry. Snow forecast for the next couple of days on the high tops. Summer may come in June.
