We headed onto the North Face of Ben Nevis today for some steep ground and avalanche awareness with The very nice folk from Belgium. A much different day, with cloud around covering the tops but also very atmospheric. We enjoyed some ice lower down the corrie before heading up No. 4 Gully. The forecast of snow by late morning didn't really materialise, just a half hour of light snow shower. The Southerly wind was buffeting at times and some loose snow was funneling down the gully, all adding to spicing the day up nicely. Kevin,Joke, Kenny and Jan did really well, making excellent progress and we finished the day in good time. They are now off up north for a few days of winter mountains, I'm envious as they are up in the NW, Ullapool area. Well done guys.
