NOT A BAD DAY AFTER ALL

Final day with the scout group from Edinburgh and after a time consuming porridge cooking session, broken boot laces and a lost mobile phone we eventually got under way. The poor weather forecast for today turned out to be a false warning, we enjoyed a dry, warm and breezy day with only a 5 minute drizzly period early in the morning. After yesterday's big effort the group wanted an easier day so we walked from Kinlochleven up the Lairig Mor and then took the right of way over to North Ballachuilish. This gives grand views at the top of the pass looking over to Loch Leven and Glencoe. More Golden Plover on the hill today and an adder snake which excited the lads and girls. The group are off canyoning tomorrow, looks like the heavy rain forecasted will spice it up for them.
