A good weather forecasted across much of the Highlands this afternoon so Ian and I set off west for the two Munros of  Sgorr Dhearg & Sgorr Dhonuill collectively known as Beinn a' Bheithir or 'The Ballachuilish Horseshoe'. Arriving in Fort William it was still a bit cloudy and damp so a liesurely breakfast in Nevis Sport café for an hour or so while the sun popped out made for perfect timing. The sun came out and the clouds made way for some glorious blue skies and Autumn sun. A stiff breeze on the tops so we didn't over heat made for a fantastic day out. Setting out at 11am meant we got wonderful afternoon light. Amazingly we saw no one all day on these two majestic ridges!
