ANOTHER FUN WINTER DAY IN THE CAIRNGORMS

A very wintry Coire an Lochain
and a full winter in Coire an t-Sneachda
Paul on the Pinnacles
Just us on The Fiacaill Ridge today
Even more snow on the ridge
Not many rocks poking out
Weather coming in
Top of Jacobs Ladder, any takers?
A lot of snow
Snow showers on the plateau
Fiacaill Ridge
Cairn Gorm rime
Coire an t-Sneachda
A few more snow shower over the last couple of days and The Cairngorms looking even more full on winter. Some lovely morning sunshine and blue skies but cloud rolling in in the afternoon. Paul & I were out on the Fiacaill Ridge today, the place to our selves. Paul was giving his Scarpa Vega plastic boots a run out before his trip to the Bolivian Andes later this year. We had a fun time out over the ridge and then onto Cairn Gorm. Warm in the sun and no wind but a definite winter day out! Looking like it's going to be full on winter until at least next week on the big mountains. Just like last year, this snow is going nowhere fast! The winter that just keeps on giving :)
