Sheltered from the gales |
Jess, Rich, Sophie & Liam are out on a 2 day course with me in the Cairngorms this weekend. The winds were back up to their normal tricks, 60-70mph on the summits. We got up high and into a sheltered location for some essential core winter skills.

Walking down |
'Snowhole City' is a great spot, we dug out a couple of ready made shelters for lunch and a respite from the snow showers and blowing snow.

Another blast of snow |
The freezing level lowered as the day progressed, snow falling around 900m. It was a wild day but we got lots done and some great fun with these guys.
