Another hot day in store so good to get put early on the trail. We headed over the Bonhomme in the morning so it was more pleasant going downhill after lunch. We tool a wee diversion for Ibex spotting as the big old boy usually lurks on the ridge above the refuge at Col de Croix de Bonhomme. No Ibex but impressive overhanging rock. Also lots of snowfinches in the area.
