Penultimate day on this first TMB this season. The scorching heat went up another notch today. Thankfully the Bovine route as a fair bit of tree cover for some welcome shade. Over the years I have several alternative names for 'TMB' today's addition is 'too much burning'! Seriously though its well worth remembering that in these conditions with a 10kg sack and over 1100m of climbing every day it is vital to drink loads and take it easy on the trail.
