Another fabulous day walking in the Valsavarenche area of the Gran Paradiso. Today's wee wildlife wander was up to Lac Djouan on the East side of the valley. Great views across to Gran Paradiso summit after the early cloud burnt off. Along the excellent traverse path I spotted a pair of Golden Eagles soaring high above and then later on a Bearded Vulture whilst sat by the lake. Millions of Marmots but no Ibex or Chamois again. There's always tomorrow.
