Northern Cairngorms
Into another thaw period with temperatures into double figures at Aviemore level and above freezing on the tops. A lot of snow stripped from yesterday but a colder spell to come by next week hopefully. The Morice family wanting an easy, low level walk today after their big effort on the mountains yesterday. We walked through much of the Glenmore and Rothemurchis Forests today. It was a dry and sunny spells morning with just the odd light shower. A pleasant day in the glens but probably a bit wild, wet and windy on the tops of the Cairngorms today.
