My final guiding in the Alps for 2018.  Where has the summer gone? It seems like only yesterday I was out guiding my first trip which was in mid June. Today the first day of the Haute Route.  It has been a bit unsettled last week in The Alps with a few cold days which dumbed snow above 2500m. This morning we set off from Mont Roc in beautiful clear skies and a chill in the air. With the colder air comes beautiful clarity of light of course.  A photographers dream.
This 10 day trek I am guiding for Mont Blanc Treks again. 10 smashing folk from Australia,  South Arrival, USA and Britain.  A lovely walk in cooler conditions,  perfect temperatures in fact and a relief from the blistering heat we've had for most of the summer.
