Rob, Justin and I headed into Ciste Corrie on Ben Nevis today, concentrating on avalanche assessment and sercurity on steep ground. It was very busy with folk up and down the Allt a' Mhuillin all morning. We did manage to find a nice quiet spot for setting up various snow anchors and belays when I spotted a couple of folk out walking there dog below Tower Ridge (first pic)! Oh well it is the holiday season I suppose. We had a mainly dry day, the odd snow shower above 700m, it was much milder today but forecast is for cooling down again next week.
