After working overseas for the majority of this summer it was nice being amongst my home mountains today. A quick romp over a deserted Fiacaill Ridge. The high level cloud very slowly broke up and by late afternoon there was some lovely sunshine. The resident reindeer herd were busy feeding high up at 1100m on the plateau. It was chilly on the tops, despite not even a breeze. Not that far till Winter.
