Three days of hot sun and clear skies over the Mont Blanc area. Very busy on the TMB, La Nova refuge packed out, September is usually quieter. Many groups of bikers seemed to enjoy carrying their bikes all the way up & over both Col de Bonhomme & Col de Croix de Bonhomme yesterday. Great views as always over the Col de la Seigne today. With the cold and snowy Spring the flora has been around 3 weeks behind so we are still enjoying lots of flowers along the way. Good at the moment is Purple Gentian, Varous Mouse ear's, Fragrant Orchid & Alpine Aster.
Sun all the way through till the weekend, the odd afternoon thunderstorm no doubt.
