Coire an t-sneachda
Happy windslab
With strong winds, cold temperatures and plenty of snow showers over the weekend it has turned the mountains back into a winter scene. A quick romp around the Northern Corries today and you could have been tricked into thinking it was around mid January time.  A fabulous mix of fresh wind slab, neve, frozen turf, water ice and strong winds it was a wonderful morning to be out. There was much snow getting transported into Coire an lochain and The Vent looked like it had more snow in it than any time this winter! Only a few folk out today on the hill. Some more weather tomorrow before a settled spell and warmer temperatures mid-end of week. Just now though winter is still with us!
