Soft and diminishing snow pack. Looking west to Braeriach
The last couple of days have seen the temperatures rising and some very pleasant sunshine. The snow pack is diminishing and softening up. Sadly I've decided to finally say it's winters end for me. It was a very pleasant morning scrambling over the Fiacaill Ridge in The Cairngorms. Apart from a few skiers the hills are very quiet. More sun and getting warmer over the weekend. Goodbye winter. Well, actually Point Five Gully in Sneachda is complete with snow from top to bottom so who knows, I may get my axe and head up there shortly :)
