Sunday 29th March
Day 2 on Chris and Erica's Winter skills course this weekend. It was a much nicer day today, dry, high cloud and low winds.

Today's theme was navigation, the No. 1 'skill' in winter and summer. We roamed around on pathless and featureless terrain using only map and compass skills. Enroute we saw several Ptarmigan which was lovely.

It was cooler today so the lower temperatures are consolidating the remaining snow cover.
