Nice evening light on Coire an Lochan
Return clients Kath & Louis are up for another spell of Munros with me this week. Derry Cairngorm is a long way out from the north but with them being strong walkers this was never going to be an issue. We headed up the Cais Ridge in 50mph winds but later in the morning these eased well back to just a breeze. We took a scenic route via Carn Etchacan then over to Loch Etchacan before the final slopes onto Derry Cairngorm. The cloud lifted in the afternoon and we had great views. Louis 'bagged' his 100th Munro summit of Macdui and Kath now on 137 Munros. Lovely evening light heading back to Coire Cas, we saw no one all day!!
