Fabulous snow and ice
Second day out with Cameron & Tom. Today we focused on security on steep ground. A day of high winds was forecasted but we found excellent shelter as well as brilliant snow and ice on the East side of the Cas ridge. It was only around 30mph here so very comfortable. No one seen all day. The temperatures were lower and it felt like proper winter. Later in the afternoon it started snowing above 750m.
A great couple of days with these guys.
Looking like full winter conditions most days next week. Welcome back winter.
