| The Fenetre Arppette |
Tuesday 6th September.
Another cracking day on the Walkers Haute Route.
Day 2 from Trient to Champex via the Fenetre Arppette is a fabulous section. A day of really being in the mountains and a good test for my group of 'what's to come' in the upcoming days. A tough day with a typical 'Scottish terrain' feel to the route. Highlights include the Trient Glacier, a rock pinnacle at the col and a boulder field down the other side.
