HAUTE ROUTE - PENULTIMATE DAY

 

The Mattertal 

It's not always bright, glorious sunshine and fabulous clarity of light in The Alps. Today we walked in mist, cloud and light rain. We had poor visibility on the col and it was chilly at times. We finished the Penultimate day on a brighter feeling afternoon with cake and ice-cream in the wonderful cafe at Jungen.
