THERES MORE TO MOUNTAINS THAN MUNROS

Nature is wonderful

Monday 16th January.

Wonderful day in the lower hills. What a contrast from the crowds of the Northern Corries over the weekend.

We saw no one all day. What we did have the privilege was standing  for over an hour in a snow shower whilst a beautiful Mountain Hare sat hunkered down just 10 metres away absolutely caked in snow. I am constantly amazed how these beautiful and hardy creatures can tolerate such harsh conditions,  every single day.

Glorious afternoon

We got some wonderful images.

The landscape scenery wasn't bad eeither.

My Mountain Hare Photography orkshops have really taken off this winter. It warms my heart that there are fellow human beings who feel the same!

Mountain Hares later 😀
