Fun day out with 6 lovely folk from South Korea. Robby & co are all students down in London village.  Five ladies and one guy. They're up for two days of Scottish winter mountain skills. I met them all off the sleeper train in Aviemore. What a contrast of scenery (and climate)  it must be, Friday evening in the smoke,  Saturday morning trust into well below freezing temperatures and intimidating winter mountains. We headed into Coire an t-Sneachda and found shelter around the moraines area. We had bags of bright,  sunny skies between the brief snow showers blowing quickly through. It was in fact mostly spindrift.  The group did brilliant,  considering most had never been up a hill in summer,  never mind full winter conditions.
Winter in full swing now.
