WHITEOUT & HIGH WINDS FOR NAVIGATION

Day 2 for Raphael on his winter course this week. Today we concentrated on Navigation.  A good day for it too. Poor visibility and at times whiteout conditions. On top of this we had very strong and challenging winds. Full marks to Raphael who coped admirably. Another sub zero temperatures day on the tops with a high windchill. Hard going lower down in the corries but the ridges and most of the plateau were well scoured making walking a tad easier. Not many folk seen on the hill today. Then again we couldn't see much further than our noses.
More snow and cold temperatures tomorrow.
Winter continues.
