A brilliant morning photographing the mountain hares. I spent 3 hours in close company with the wee hare who I've been photographing since the summer. He's now almost completely in his winter pelage. Deep snow on the approach to him was fun. I had to make a trench up to above my knees. I think the hare must have been amused. I was so low below the snowline there was no need to lie down for a low angled shot.
In the afternoon the clag came in and some very different light. It's amazing how the sunlight highlights the hares beautiful coat.
Another below freezing day at all levels. After some morning sunshine, the cloud slowly crept down the hill.
