Full snow cover |
Negar & Matthew were out on a landscape photography course with me today. This was a Birthday gift from Nager to Matthew with one of my gift vouchers.
Cairn Gorm |
The weather was kind for us. Dry with some brightness and the clouds lifted to give some great opportunities to capture the Cairngorms under a Winter blanket.
Blowing snow on the Sgorans |
The wind picked up later in the afternoon and lots of snow getting blown around. This was the first proper wind for over 10 days which is unusual for the Caingorms.
Late afternoon light |
A lovely day with very nice folk who loved their first visit and photography day in the Highlands. Think they'll be back 😀.
Light a day shade |
Tonight snd tomorrow a big change. Very warm, very wet, very windy. BUT this is good as it will be short lived and exactly what we need to get some melt/freeze in the snowpack. Tuesday onwards back to proper cold temperatures and fresh snow.
