Chilly on top |
A fab day in Snowshoeing in the Monadhliath. The largest tract of high ground in Britain means you can easily escape everyone. We saw just one ski tourer all day.
Nice ice |
Drifting |
Afternoon clearing |
The snowshoes came into their own above 600m. Deep drifts and some soft winslab were no bother for the big shoes. A cold stiff breeze on the tops. We got a lovely break in the cloud high up.
