| Coire an Lochain |
Another very warm day in the Cairngorms. Blue skies and virtually wall to wall sun with very little wind. A wildlife photography day in the Northern Corries. Before setting off we checked out the area around the Coire Cas carpark. The Ring Ouzel have landed. I heared one the other day along with a few Skylark. Signs of Spring. Meanwhile the snow is still in the mountains with reasonable cover in the Northern Corries and on the plateau.

Up in Coire an Lochain we had a mooch around for Ptarmigan and Mountain Hare whilst lazing about under a warm sun by the ice flows in the lochan.
Make the most of the beautiful warm and sunny conditions....winter returns on Monday.
